Theme: Finding Your Calm Spot

The wind whispered against the window again. Raven’s tail curled tight, and her paws tucked close.
“I don’t like that sound,” she whispered.
Willow looked over from the cozy fort, soft blue eyes warm.
“Sometimes sounds feel loud in my body too,” she said gently.
Raven nodded. Everything felt too big. Too spinny. Too fast.
Willow padded slowly to a soft corner of the room and tapped the carpet with her paw.
“This is where I sit when things feel noisy inside. Want to try it with me?”
Raven followed, settling into the fluffy spot. The quiet glow of the lamp warmed their fur.
Willow showed her:
“Breathe in soft… breathe out slow.”
Raven tried. Her whiskers trembled, but she did it again.
Willow curled her tail around Raven’s.
“You’re safe. Your calm spot is always here.”
Raven’s ears relaxed. Her chest softened.
She whispered, “My body feels a little better.”
Willow smiled.
“When things feel big, we can make our space feel little and soft again.”
Raven leaned into her cousin with a tiny purr.
She didn’t feel perfect—but she felt calmer.
And that was enough.
