Raven went for a walk.
The air felt warm.
The trees were yellow and gold.
Then—
CRUNCH.
CRACKLE.
Leaves danced across the path.
They bumped into Raven’s paws.
They brushed Raven’s tail.
CRUNCH. CRACKLE. WHOOSH.
Raven stopped.
Raven’s eyes grew wide.
The leaves were very loud.
Raven didn’t like that.
Raven stood still and listened.
The wind blew.
The leaves rushed past.
Raven took a small step.
CRUNCH.
Another step.
CRACKLE.
Raven paused again.
“Hmm,” thought Raven.
The leaves were noisy…
But they weren’t mean.
They were just moving.
Raven took one more step.
The leaves flew by.
Raven stayed.
And after a while,
the wind slowed down.
The leaves rested.
Raven did too.
